School Council Focus- Know Your Rights!

All children have rights. These rights are the things that children need to be safe, healthy and happy. The United Nations has a list of all the rights that children have. This list is called the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, or UNCRC for short.

Our School Council, have been working on some of these rights. Please take some time to have a look at the display in the main hall.

MISSIO Ambassadors

Calling all would-be Missio Ambassadors!

Working with Canon Paul Watson, we will be developing the role of our Missio Ambassadors this term. Our first job is to select the new team. I will be holding discussions with Year 1 and Year 2 pupils to select our next group of Missio leaders. Please discuss with your child if they would like to be part of the Pope’s crew leading on – looking after our world and helping others, especially helping and praying for  children.

Canon Paul will be joining us in school on Tuesday 2nd October. By then we hope to have our new ambassadors in place. They will be presented with their badges on that day and will help Canon Paul introduce the Missio theme.
